Policy Dialogues

The Development Research School will offer Policy Dialogues approximately four times a year in order to promote interaction between research and policy.

The Policy Dialogues are intended to facilitate cross-sectoral perspectives and cooperationon broad themes of relevance for development research and international development cooperation, but sometimes also on specific matters more directly tied to the research interests of doctoral students of the School.

The practitioners will be representatives from the government, international organisations, think-tanks, and civil society organisations. These Dialogues will be coordinated by the Swedish Development Research Network (SweDev), located at Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI).

Janet Vähämäki from SweDev/SEI will be responsible for coordinating the Policy Dialogues.

The specially tailored activities will also be jointly organised, with administrative support from the secretariat of the Development Research School. The number of participants will vary depending on activity, but it is expected that most doctoral students will participate in activities, such as skills training, workshops and the conferences.

More information will come - thank you for your patience.
