About the course

The Methodology and Field Studies course is hosted by the University of Ghana.

The course aims at enhancing doctoral researchers' knowledge in research methodology, particularly in the study of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) related topics. It consists of a four-day programme and is usually held at the University of Ghana Campus.

Deadline for applications is 2 April 2024.

Eligibility 

  • Must be enrolled in doctoral programmes in a Ghanaian University
  • Applicants must be at the early stage of their doctoral research
  • Their project must be in a social sciences-related field
  • Female doctoral researchers are encouraged to apply

About the Development Research School

The Development Research School is an international partnership of four universities, established in January 2022 and dealing with sustainable development and poverty reduction in low-income countries. It has a particular focus on aspects of governance, power, and inequality. The partner universitites are Lund University, Uppsala University, Gothenburg University and the University of Ghana.
