Call for Applications: “Methodology and Field Studies”

The application is now open for our course “Methodology and Field Studies” - the deadline is 25 August. Please note that you need to be enrolled in a doctoral program at a Ghanian University to be eligible to apply.

Are you enrolled in a doctoral programme in a Ghanian University and wishes to enhance your knowledge in research methodology, particularly in the study of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) related topics? Then this course is something for you.

The course is coordinated by the lnstitute of Statistical, Economic and Social Research (ISSER) in collaboration with the School of Graduate Studies, University of Ghana, and the universities of Lund, Gothenburg, and Uppsala. The course aims at enhancing doctoral researchers' knowledge in research methodology, particularly in the study of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) related topics. 

The course consists of a four-day programme and will be held at the University of Ghana Campus from September 12 -15, 2023. It will expose graduate students to research methodologies to enhance scientific inquiry, as well as, foster participants' understanding of the importance of research methodological choices in development research. Doctoral students are invited from social science-related disciplines across universities in Ghana to apply.
